The Internet pages of Marcotodo GmbH have been completely rebuilt. With the current product descriptions, line extensions and lots of information on the processing of composite materials, the company presents solutions for fast and reliable heating solutions with process temperatures of up to 200° C.
2017 - 02 - 10 | Growth and investments
Sales continued to grow in 2016 and more than doubled compared to the previous year. The high increase was mainly due to the acquisition of new major customers and good sales in the area of special systems.
A significant share of the success was achieved through the cooperation and partnership with the consultancy firm JRK! Global Consultants (www.jrk-consultants.de).
Marcotodo GmbH was thus able to invest considerable resources in the further development of the existing technology as well as the development of novel heating media. This positive trend is also continuing in 2017.
2017 - 01 - 05 | Market establishment
In the course of extensive restructuring in 2016, Marcotodo GmbH has successfully established itself in the market as a specialist for thermal processes in the aerospace industry and in the research landscape "New Materials" since 2008.
Thanks to the close cooperation with aircraft manufacturer Airbus as well as suppliers in Germany, France and Spain, large MRO companies such as Lufthansa Technik and in particular joint research projects with renowned institutions such as the Fraunhofer Institutes, the German Aerospace Centre DLR and the Hannover Laser Centre, systems and processes have been developed which make the processing, reworking and overall use of composite materials considerably more efficient.
2015 - 10 - 13./15.
MRO Europe 2015, from 13th - 15th of October in London. As in February 2015, Marcotodo GmbH presented the latest technologies and products for the repair of fibre composite components. In addition to the mobile milling machine from Sauer Ultrasonic, the focus was on the new generation control devices (hot bonders) for heat treatment and accelerated curing. Together with Heico Aviation Services, we demonstrated the future of fibre composite repair.
Optimisation of FVK component assembly using innovative hot air technology: "Reducing process times when gluing and applying shims and sealants". Successful exploitation of the potential of new bonding techniques requires the mastery of the associated process chain. This applies in particular to the acceleration and quality assurance of adhesive assembly processes.
